The update has new features, improvements and bug fixes. Here are some of the main changes and updates:
Validate Sync
This version of the app contains bug fixes related to syncing. After updating to the new version, please follow the prompt to ensure your content has been synced to the cloud correctly. If you don’t get a prompt, please go to Settings->Validate Sync and select Validate. You only need to do this once, per device.
Search Barcode Catalog
Similar to scanning a barcode, now you can add an item from the 62,000+ items and 400+ manufacturers in our Barcode Catalog through the Search option.
Enter at least one character in the search box, then use filters to limit the results by Category and Manufacturer. Watch our video “Search Barcode Catalog” for more details.
Improved filters
We’ve improved the logic for filters. Previously when selecting a Category (i.e. Stamp) and Manufacturer (i.e. Altenew) the results included all Stamps and all Altenew products. Now the filters will work as expected: only Altenew Stamps will be included.
iPad support
We now have native iPad support in the App! Native support works better and looks better. This is an interim improvement as we have plans for a version that takes full advantage of the iPad’s larger screen in the future.
Live update on the Browse screen
When using more than one device, your items will sync and update live in the Browse screen across devices. Just sort by most recent and items appear instantly as they sync to your device!
30-day trial without subscribing
You no longer need to subscribe for the free 30-day trial. People wanted to try the app without having set up a subscription and we listened! At the end of the 30-day trial items can no longer be added, but everything that has been added will still be available.
Bug fixes
- Syncing issues.
- Random App crashes caused by Sync.
- When starting the App it would sometimes start in FREE mode; no more.
- Updates to Categories appear instantly in the app. No longer requires logging out and back in.
- Wishlists not always syncing to a 2nd device.
